Teaching
Mukaigawara has taught students with a wide range of backgrounds. In the classroom, he creates an environment where students learn from one another, engage difficult material with clarity, and remember the course’s core lessons long after it ends.
Beyond the classroom, Mukaigawara organized PS-Prep, a mentoring program for underrepresented Ph.D. applicants; mentored graduate students each year; and represented students on the department’s curriculum committee.
